The Last Song

Okies. Another review. I've read the book. And like the others, I like it! yeah! Heeh. Just like other Nick Sparks novels, the story will start up slow. Sometimes way too slow, but as the story builts up, it's get interesting and the next thing u knw, u can't stop turning the page 'til u knw what's exactly goin to happen on the last page. I like the characters of The Last Song, they are pretty messed up. But that's what it's all about. If there's no conflict, then there's no story, right Nicky Sparks? LOL. The similarity is there, there's conflict, there's happiness, joy, sadness and tears. And there's love. Love what makes the story alive. Well, don't they all?

Different from the book, the movie is quite okay. As usual, I've always preferred the book. I always make it a point to read 1st, watch l8r. Else, it wudnt be fun. Yes, we tend to compare. But the books made the movie make sense. U knw, it adds reality, life and logic. Which is y, books are always better. But the movie, made us visualize, made us feel and the thing next you knw, u burst to tears. Yup. That's what Nicholas Sparks did to us. Expect it to be like A Walk to Remember but with a different twist. The same lost of love but.. well, just go and watch the movie or read the book and u'll understand what I mean. Heh. The one thing which I didnt actually enjoy is Miley Cyrus. She's still Hannah Montana but in a serious mode. But she did try hard to get out of her shell but just maybe wasnt hard enuff. But, I forgive her cuz it's her 1st time acting without 'Hannah Montana' . Haha. So, yeah. Nywz, go enjoy the book and the movie. Of course, it's cliche and all. Why wouldnt it be? It's a love story. Sheesh.
