And this is especially to ChickyEgg, she's been asking me how to take this shot..

So, here it is.. Well, I'm not exactly gonna tell u how to shoot it but.. I just give u my EXIF data.. =p .. Shoot in Manual mode (easier) , set ISO to 200, Shutter speed - 1/100 (for best result use 1/125 & above but since it's quite dark I have to use 1/100) & this was shot at f5.6, for certain condition u have to use ur flash.. ok?.. done!

Nywz, few people ask me if it's ok to Photoshop. My answer is.. Y not? I mean, Louis Pang use it too soo.. y not?? Haha.. Well, for me.. I must say it's better to use it.. as it produce better photos.. An example, would u go out without using ur make up on? I knw some people wudnt mind but while others, they have to, and they want to. In any case, u spend a lot of time posing & all, then after goin thru it, ur photos look awful. What wud u do? throw it all away? Wud u want people to see that photos? People nowadays using Facebook, Friendster and other networking sites even blogs to publish their photos, I can assure u almost 80% of them will photoshop it 1st b4 publishing it. Yeah, while others doesnt approve but yet, that's the real world. As a photography enthusiast, it wud be unethical or unwise to release a photo that is not post-processed. It's all about being creative. How well & creative u can get to produce the best out of it. Which is y we call it the art of photography. But then again, that's what I think. Haha. People might have different opinions so.. whatever..

This might not be the best example but it's the only one that I've spend time with.. haha.. so, it'll do =p

See the difference? U'll be the judge..

I quote, The editor of I-Mag Photography :

One Hollywood photographer who took 8 x 10's of famous stars said everything was airbrushed then, no photo was released without major retouching.

So what's all this debate over retouching and overhauling photographs? As an art form and a marketing tool, photographs were always a work in progress, not an end product out of the camera. If we could accept heavy retouching back in the days of film photography, why should we call it evil today?

Pixels are different from silver grains only in form, not in substance. Being made up of one or the other does not cross any moral line - Neil Garcia (Publisher & Editor-in-Chief)
